Gallery Beads

Check out my old gallery, I often put pictures there that are sets of beads I have made in the past, if you see something you like there and want a set, then contact me, I can always make another set for you. They may not be exactly the same, often better than the original set, so I guarantee you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

My Studio

My name is Sandy, I’m 49 years old and I live just outside Bath in the South West of England and have done so for some 25 years now.  Longer if you count the years I spent in the RAF beforehand.me

I'm recently widowed and have two wonderful Sons that keep a close eye on me and some smashing friends (Maggie, Dave & Bob the Cat!)

My Sanctuary...

This is my places of sanctuary, my studio.  I’ve been making beads now for nearly six years in October.

I used to make pottery and fairly successfully even if I say so myself, but it was extremely cold in the winter months and I would have to break the ice off the clay before I could start so it was beginning to loose some of the magic when I discovered glass.

Hubby had just retired (2003) and taken up golf so in order to keep me happy he lagged the studio space, I sold all my pottery kit off and started making beads.  It’s nice and cozy now, complete with a workstation, glass store and an area to carry out all the Admin.  I’ve also another area up here for making jewelry, taking photographs and sitting at the window watching the cows in the field fight of crows, pigeons, the odd barn owl and a family of foxes! But I’ve not taken any pics of that yet!
